ReviewsHerald.com: Victoria’s Secret (VS) is famous for it’s hot lingerie and supermodels, but VS is also known for it’s innovative makeup and fragrance range. One product which has been making waves is the Bronzing powder range, which helps partygoers get that shiny, bronzed look to complement their classy outfits. So let’s check out Victoria’s Secret Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder and see if it’s all that it’s heard to be.
Description:
As per VS: “Bask in a bronze glow. Skin-loving mineral powders blend in a unique marbleized finish to give skin an instantly brightening touch of sun-kissed radiance”
Review:
The mineral bronzing powder comes in 3 shades – dark, medium and light. It has a pretty fancy see through cover and does not include a brush. The colors are great and the textures feel good once applied on skin, but one thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bronzing powder and not a foundation, so don’t overdo the brushing, else you might end up artificially glittery.
Once applied in the right manner, with a brush, it makes the face look clearer and brings out your face structure. In a cool climate, it works best, but if you are going to sweat a lot, it might not stay on long and that is one of the downsides of this powder.
The price tag is around $16 for the 2 oz compact powder.
Pros:
Available in 3 shades
Can be used for day and night wear
Has great bronzed, glitter texture and easy to apply
The mineral powder is soothing and does not irritate the skin
Cons
Doesn’t stay on long in hotter climates
Can be too glittery for some
Considering it’s a USA brand, it’s disappointing to know it’s mass produced in China and not USA
