ReviewsHerald.com: The Body Shop’s “Stawberry” range has been quite a hit among those who love fruity flavours, so it’s no doubt that this product is something that really needs to be analyzed . Having reviewed the Strawberry Body Puree lotion earlier, it was only apt to bring in another star from this range – The Body Shop’s Strawberry Body Mist.
Like most products by The Body Shop, this Strawberry Body Mist comes with that unmistakable strawberry fragrance, which is likely to either make your day or make you sick depending on your personal preferences.
So what does The Body Shop have to say about the Strawberry Body Mist?
“Our Strawberry takes on a fresh new form. Spray this light scented body mist all over your body for a gentle burst of sweet fruitiness. It’s irresistible. Sweet strawberry fragrance Light and fresh. Use all over body Contains strawberry extract.”
Ingredients (As per The Body Shop)
Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), Water (Solvent/Diluent), Fragrance (Fragrance), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit Extract (Natural Additive), Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient), Citral (Fragrance Ingredient), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Denatonium Benzoate (Denaturant).
The Body Shop’s Strawberry Body Mist is presented in a stylish manner, it comes in a 100 ml (3.3 fl oz) glass bottle with a regular pump and a metal cap. Considering it’s a body mist, it’s a bit heavy and owing to the glass body, it’s a bit fragile if you plan on travelling around with it in your bag.
The fragrance is fruity and strong – but not the artificially type strong. It does not burn the skin on direct contact and lasts anywhere between 4-6 hours, depending on the climate. It does make you feel fresh, but remember that you need to use this after a bath or when your clean, it may not help that much in covering up odours later in the day – if that’s what you have in mind.
The only big downer would be the heavy, yet fragile glass bottle which limits it’s usage outside the house. If it was probably in a hard plastic bottle, it would be easier to travel with it. And the other minor issue would be the tiny metal cap which doesn’t seem to fit on perfectly at times and keeps falling off.
But with regards to the product, it does lives up to it’s fruity expectations, but don’t expect it to last the whole day as it’s just a body mist and not a perfume.
It costs around $ 12 or 6.5 GBP and is currenlty available in only one size.
Strawberry fragrance – fruity and perfect for after-bath use and gives you a fresh feeling
Pretty good staying power for a body mist
Great packaging and design
Glass bottle tends to be heavy and can be fragile if you want to carry it around with you.

The bottom-line: If you are a strawberry-fragrance lover looking for a genuine fruity fragrance, this could be one of the best buys available in the market. It doesn’t smell artificial and can last for hours.
